There are plenty of scenic walks available in the region. How about a visit to a secluded cave or a hike through a wild and romantic gorge? Or take a look at the inscriptions on Schneidjoch dating back to 400 BC!
First official records of the local church date back to the year 1188. It was rebuilt in late Gothic style in 1434 and again redesigned in Baroque style in the 18th century. The left side altar depicts the Lady of Sorrows. Right above it you will see a special rarity: a wood-carved, personified Trinity model from the 17th century.
Located in a high-altitude valley surrounded by impressive mountain massifs such as the Unnütz, Steinberg offers loads of space to move and relax. Hiking, mountain biking, running, Nordic Walking - all amidst the unspoilt, pristine nature. The mighty Guffert rock construction offers particularly good views, on an altitude of 2,195 meters.
